Player age is determined based upon the player’s age as shown below.

 

Evaluations for AA, AAA & Major Division will be held at the Midland High School Gym on the following dates:

March 3, 2024 3:00 - 6:30 (baseball age 12, 11, 10) Players looking to be considered for Majors & AAA

March 10, 2024 3:00 - 6:30 (12, 11, 10 make up, 9, 8, 7) Players that missed, looking to be considered for Majors, AAA & AA

Majors players who are already on a Majors team from last season need not evaluate.

Specific time slots for evaluations will be communicated prior to March 3 & 10.

 

Select the highest level that you would like your child to be considered for. For example, if you want your 10 yr old to be considered for Majors, you must select the Majors option. Otherwise, we will only consider him or her for AAA. You will notice that there are several overlaps of age groups. Based on evaluations, they may be placed at a lower level but your selection will let us know what divisions we should consider for your child. We encourage you to select the highest level and let the evaluations determine best level of competition. We are excited that you have chosen to have your child be a part of Northeast Little League. We are looking forward to another great season this year and will continue our efforts to ensure that the baseball experience offered by our league is fun and rewarding to players and families. Your comments and suggestions on how we can improve any aspect of our league are always welcome.

Early registration fee is $70 ($75 after Jan 31) for Majors, AAA & AA 

Early registration fee is $60 ($65 after Jan 31) for Coach Pitch 1, 2 and T-ball

 

For the 2024 season we offer the following programs (Eligible Birthdates):

T-Ball: Age 4 or brand new to the game (September 1, 2017 - August 31, 2020) - if we don't get enough 4 yr olds, they will play CP1

Coach Pitch 1: Ages 5 - 6 (September 1, 2017 - August 31, 2019) 

Coach Pitch 2: Ages 6 - 8 (September 1, 2015 - August 31, 2018) 

AA Minors: Ages 7 - 9 (September 1, 2014 - August 31, 2017)

AAA Minors: Ages 8 - 11 (September 1, 2012 - August 31, 2016)

Majors: Ages 9 - 12 (September 1, 2011 - August 31, 2015)

 

***NOTE - It is NOT REQUIRED to submit a birth certificate or proof of residence - however, this information is mandatory if/when your player is selected to a post season NELL team.

***If you have moved out of NELL boundary and your player has been playing in the league (grandfathered) and still wishes to play in the league you will need to fill out a IId form. This also applies if you have moved out of NELL boundary, but your player goes to a school in boundary (NEMS, Adams, Chestnut Hill, Plymouth, Good Shepard, Blessed Sacrament).
