Sandlot Baseball 2025

Interested in extending your baseball season? NELL participates with other area little leagues in offering a summer baseball league for kids baseball 6 through baseball 12. Age as of August 31, 2025

Dates: Early-July to Early-August

Divisions:

Sandlot 1 (Baseball 6 – 8 year olds). Soft compression balls and 40’ pitching.

Games tentatively on Mondays and Wednesdays

Sandlot 2 (Baseball 8 – 10 year olds; 7’s if participated in AA minors during the regular season.

9’s and 10’s not eligible if selected for all-stars).

Games tentatively on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Majors Division (Baseball 10 – 12 year olds). All the rules of Majors in a relaxed, instructive atmosphere.

Games tentatively on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Division 1 & 2 follow AA minor rules with kids pitching until 4 balls; at which time the coach finishes the at bat.

Majors Division will follow Majors rules.

2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby

Competition is for District 1 Little League Players - June 17, 2025 5:30p

YOU CAN ONLY COMPETE IN ONE LITTLE LEAGUE HRD!
Participants must currently be registered and meet all eligibility requirements within their chartered Little League for the 2025 season.
The Baseball competition is open to athletes league age 9 – 12 years old.
All Home Run Derby Local Little League Hosts must agree to comply with the following before registering1) all of the T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby Rules and Regulations; 2) Terms & Conditions; 3) Privacy Policy; and 4) will collect and ensure submission of all required releases and event documents.
The Local Little League Host must further certify that they are fully eligible to enroll their league in this competition as a member of the local league Board of Directors. If the local league takes insurance coverage locally and not through the national Little League insurance coverage through AIG, the local host must have verified with their local insurance carrier and can confirm that insurance coverage will be in effect for the T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby.
All Participants are required to submit the Participant Release signed by their legal guardian prior to participating. Any participant that is found to have not submitted their Participant Release or other required documents prior to participating in their Local Home Run Derby will be disqualified and their results will not be accepted.
There is no minimum number of participants.
